What a first consultation actually covers
Placeholder footage. What to bring, what gets decided in the first half hour, and what a practitioner cannot tell you until they have read the file.

A first consultation is not the matter. It is the meeting where a practitioner finds out whether they can take the matter, what it is likely to cost, and what has to happen before anything else can.
Bring the paper. Whatever you have. A contract, a letter of demand, a summons, a title deed, messages. A practitioner reading the document in front of you will tell you more in ten minutes than an hour of description.
Expect to be told what is not possible. A consultation that only confirms what you hoped is a consultation somebody has not read the file for.
The film on this page is stock footage. It is not the author and it is not a WLS member.
